It has been quite a productive week.
And I think its safe to say that I tried my best this week! I even fit in some exercise and a good time with my lab mates today, so thats worth celebrating for.
Now I’m going to count some more nuclei in one more glomeruli before I go to bed. It’s not that fun if you’re wondering. I’d rather be sleeping, eating, running, or doing some yoga, which I might before I head off...

Interviewer: Give us your best tip for overcoming depression.
Stephen Fry: To regard it as being like the weather. It's not your responsibility that it's raining, but it is real when it rains, and the fact that it's raining does not mean that the rain is never going to stop. The only thing to do is to believe that, one day, it won't be raining and accept it so you can find a mental umbrella to shield yourself from the worst. The sun will eventually come up.

In the most terrible mood right now.
Everything just feels annoying and I am so annoyed of being annoyed.

Well..
I was going to enjoy the nice day, and then my allergies came sooner than expected. I already felt it this morning when I left the house, but I didn’t think it was much until later in the afternoon when I started sneezing like crazy.
Took a nap and used some corticosteroid nasal spray and hoping that I’ll be okay for the rest of the day.

Sooooo nice today!
Had such a great weekend! Was just relaxing, and spent a lot of time with my boyfriend. Drove his s2000 in the fog friday night … with the top down. Definitely eventful, however, our plan to see the stars was interrupted by the unexpected fog. Still a great night though.
I made dumplings for the first time from scratch on saturday for dinner and it turned out pretty good! Hope you all had...

It was a busy, busy day today.
But it was super beautiful outside again! I was walking home after running at the track, and it was so beautiful outside. The stars, and the clear dark night sky. It was perfect. It felt like it used to feel when I was small, and I would hold my daddy’s hand and we’d walk around our neighborhood to look at the stars.
It made me smile. This is why I love running. I feel like I’m...

Lady Bugs
They keep getting into my room.. and I can hear them hit the blinds on my windows. My windows aren’t open and I can’t find any visible holes..
I DON’T KNOW WHERE THEY ARE COMING FROM. It’s freaking me out a bit.
I don’t particularly like lady bugs to be honest.

Dear Steph,
I promise you this will be a productive week, so that you don’t feel so guilty at the end of the week because you feel like there are still millions of things left to be done. I will at least do some of them, so there will be less suffering later.
You can do it!

Oh yeah, I finished Mockingjay earlier this week! Overall, the trilogy was good I would say, but I didn’t like the ending as much. The ending was very abrupt and left me with questions that I wanted answered and they weren’t.
My favorite book would still be the first one! I really couldn’t put it down at all and I never wanted to stop reading it.
Recommend this though if you...

I wish I was my dog.

Or my cat. They don’t have to do anything all day except stay home, lay in the sun, eat, sleep, and play.
Life isn’t fair.
This is what I think to myself everyday. Except, I wish I was my bunny.

About Kony 2012
Just today, I heard about the controversy behind this situation. If you want to know more about the controversial group Invisible Children, please read this and this site also has information. And of course the first thing I went to check was wikipedia! I’m sure if you google search, a million things will come up! However, try to find reliable sources (government sites and ratings on...

I feel so happy right now.
I ran today, which was probably the best decision I’ve made in a long time. After running 4k, I walked home, and the sun was shining, and it was just so beautiful - chilly, but beautiful. And everything just feels right.
Maybe its the endorphins, or I’m just happy, yeah I think I’ll stick with that.

Reading update.
Currently reading: Mockingjay
And after I wrote that post, I finished The Hunger Games that night. As of a couple hours ago, I have finished the second book (Catching Fire), and I’m onto the next!
I heard the ending isn’t the best, but I’m excited to see what happens still!

Mango Smoothie
A couple weeks ago, mangos were on sale at the supermarket I was at, so I bought some to cut up and store in the freezer (because I prefer them frozen.. they just taste so much better to me, although, I do still like the fresh ones).
After I had cut them up, and froze them they were way more stuck together than normal and I couldn’t break them apart to eat bit by bit, so tonight I decided...

Previously, I talked about how I wanted to start changing or improving some things in my life, and I’ve just added to the list! I’ve decided that I’m going to start reading more books. Not school related books, but books I enjoy.
I found that as I got older, I stopped reading for enjoyment because I had so much other school work to do, but most of the time, I’m being...
