“You want to know what happiness is? It’s waking up in the middle of the night for no reason, shifting under the blankets and feeling the heat of the person next to you. You turn around and see them in their most peaceful, innocent, and vulnerable state. They breathe as though the weight of the world lays on anyone’s shoulder but their own. You smile and kiss their face gently before turning back around and somehow, an involuntary grin forms on your face. Just before you drift off to sleep, you feel an arm wrap around your waist and you know it doesn’t get any better than this.”

“Stop having set “qualifications” for a boyfriend/girlfriend. Being a lover is not a fucking job, and you’re not hiring a fucking employee. And yes, they will make mistakes. Yes, they will be different from what you expected. They’re human, and they have no fucking clue what they’re doing. But they love you, and they love every minute of you. So please, give them a chance.”

Reasons why he's a keeper.
I’ve been having a bad day. My eyelids are sunburnt and they’re super puffy, itchy, and red all around, and for some reason this is the only place that I got burnt…FML.
Anyway, he texts me when I’m about to eat dinner and says he’s at the door. I open the door, not expecting him, and covering my face because I look like a zombie (literally), and there he is, with a cucumber in his hands, for me to put on my eyes.

“The glory of friendship is not the outstretched hand, nor the kindly smile nor the joy of companionship; it is the spiritual inspiration that comes to one when he discovers that someone else believes in him and is willing to trust him.”
